We were tasked with removing an old 8 person hydraulic passenger lift serving 3 floors and installing a much larger 13 person electric traction MRL ‘stretcher’ lift. We provided a complete turnkey service working with our client’s architect firm Gilbert. Our works included for the removal of the back shaft wall and build up of new shaft wall to accommodate the larger and longer lift. This meant the extended pit had to be excavated to suit the new shaft. We also installed a new dormer and completed all the making good work.
